Facility opens at 9:45am for warm up. We will huddle up for announcements and teams approximately between 10-10:15.
At the start of Session play, players will circle in a group to hear from our board regarding any upcoming tournaments, events, schedule changes, etc. Depending on the amount of individuals present, everyone will count off until a certain number completing the circle. Teams will arrange themselves accordingly and board members will review to ensure balance amongst the teams. Some individuals may be switched between teams just to ensure that the play will be as even as possible, and is not meant to single anyone out in any way.
Once teams are established and given a go, you can review the scheduled posted and either play or ref as needed. Board members will also be announcing the game schedule between matches.
This session loosely adheres to USAV rules, including doubles, carry, lifts, line faults etc. We accept players at all levels, but if new to volleyball, you are expected to listen and to follow teammates and to learn the sport.

In prior seasons we have implemented certain measures with tournaments to foster inclusivity and promotion for members who attendee regular session play. It was proven successful in and the past and we are hoping to revisit in the future, but due to the sudden new location of the league and some structure changes (in terms of board and tournament schedule) we are post-postponing any membership expectations from tournaments. We are hoping to unveil a new membership setup in the upcoming year that will align with our mission and ensure we are trying to account for all types to players.
